Signing In and Account Authentication
Overview
Signing in is the very first screen you see if you're signed out of WAJ. A single Welcome screen lets you toggle between Phone and Email to authenticate.
Sign in with phone
Enter your phone number (WAJ auto-detects your country where possible, adjustable via the country picker), then tap Continue to receive an OTP code by SMS.
Sign in with email
Enter your email and password, then tap Continue. If it's an existing account, you're logged in; if it's new, an account is created (a new password creates a new account). A brand-new sign-up sends a confirmation code by email and takes you to verify it.
OTP verification
Enter the code sent by SMS or email. If it doesn't arrive, a resend option appears after a short cooldown.
Forgot / reset password
From the email login form, tap Reset password to request a reset code, verify it, and set a new password.
Linking an email to a phone-only account
If your account was originally created with just a phone number, you can add an email and password later so you can also sign in with email — handy as a backup sign-in method or if a teammate needs email-only access.
Account deletion
Reachable from Settings → Delete Account — a permanent, confirmed action that closes your business account.
Notes & limitations
If your account was previously deleted, WAJ shows a notice instead of signing you in. After successful sign-in, WAJ checks whether your account already has a business: existing businesses go straight to the app, while new accounts are routed into onboarding to set up their business.
