Session Frequencies Explained

Total (All sessions at once)

  • All sessions available immediately

  • No refresh during validity period

  • Best for: One-time packages (e.g., "10 haircuts for 3 months")

Per Month

  • Sessions refresh at the start of each month

  • Unused sessions don't carry over

  • Best for: Monthly recurring visits (e.g., "4 haircuts per month")

Per Week

  • Sessions refresh every week

  • Unused sessions don't carry over

  • Best for: Weekly regulars (e.g., "1 facial per week")

Per Quarter

  • Sessions refresh every 3 months

  • Unused sessions don't carry over

  • Best for: Quarterly services (e.g., "1 deep conditioning per quarter")

Unlimited vs Limited Sessions

Unlimited (-1)

  • Customer can use service any number of times

  • Best for: Premium memberships

  • Forces frequency to "Total"

Limited (number)

  • Customer gets exactly N sessions

  • Best for: Budget-controlled plans

  • Must have a frequency selected

Validity Periods

Status Meanings

For Membership Plans:

  • Active: Available to sell to new customers

  • Paused: Temporarily unavailable (existing customers keep access)

  • Expired: Automatically set based on end date (if applicable)

  • Cancelled: Manually cancelled (cannot be reactivated)

For Customer Memberships:

  • Active: Customer can use benefits

  • Paused: Temporarily suspended

  • Expired: Membership period ended

  • Cancelled: Permanently ended
