The Business Profile feature helps you manage all aspects of your beauty salon or business in WAJ. From updating your business details and managing services to handling customers and configuring settings - everything you need to run your business efficiently is in one place.

Update Business Details


This allows management to modify key information about the business, such as the business name, business category, phone number, email, and picture. This feature ensures that all business details are accurate and up-to-date, providing clients with the correct information and maintaining a professional image.
1. Click on "Business Details" from "My Business"Click on Business Details from under My Business to edit any of the business details
2. Edit businessAny detail about the business can be edited directly on this page, make sure to click on "Save Changes" once the editing is finished.
Add customers




Adding customers allows staff to store essential details like contact information, booking history, preferences, and any notes regarding the clients. This feature is vital for maintaining personalized, organized, and efficient client management, helping the business build lasting relationships with each customer.
By adding customers into the system, the staff can easily track service history and tailor future visits based on past preferences. For example, a client who regularly books a specific stylist or treatment can have these preferences saved, making future bookings quicker and more accurate. Additionally, stored profiles enable salons to send appointment reminders, special offers, or birthday promotions, adding a personal touch to the client experience. This feature ensures every client feels valued, improves appointment efficiency, and strengthens customer loyalty.
1. Click on "New Customer"2. Fill in the personal detailsFill in the personal details such as the name, email address, and phone number of the new client. The contact information is important as they will receive confirmation emails or messages about their appointments.
3. Click on "Additional Details"The date of birth of the client as well as any allergies or extra notes may be added here.
4. Click on "Save"Save the new customer to the system.
Viewing Customer Details


Viewing customer details" allows business staff and management to access comprehensive information about each client, including their contact information, booking history, service preferences, and any personalized notes. This feature enhances client relationships by helping the team tailor services to individual needs and preferences.

Updating Customer




Updating Customer information allows business staff and management to make changes to client information, such as contact details, preferences, or notes, ensuring that records stay current and accurate. This feature is essential for providing personalized service and maintaining strong client relationships.
For instance, if a client changes their phone number or indicates a new service preference, the salon team can easily update this information to avoid any future communication issues or misunderstandings about their preferences.

Searching Customer

Searching customers allows staff to quickly locate client profiles by entering keywords like name or phone number. This feature makes it easy to find specific customer information, saving time and enhancing customer service.
For example, if a client calls to inquire about an upcoming appointment, staff can simply search by their name or phone number to access their booking details and history within seconds.
Staff can search for a client by typing their name or phone number in the search box.
Re-Booking




Re-booking allows staff to easily schedule a new appointment based on a previous booking. This feature simplifies the rebooking process by automatically carrying over service details, staff preferences, and other specifics from the last visit, saving time and effort.

2. Click on "Bookings"Click on bookings to view all their previous bookings
3. Click on "Book Again"Click on book again for the booking the client wants to re-book.
4. Confirm booking details.Check and confirm the date and time of the booking and click "Save".
Tags




This feature in a salon app allows staff to categorize clients with custom labels for easier organization and quick insights. Tags can be used to highlight client's preferences, frequent services, or special attributes, helping staff personalize the client experience and manage data more effectively.
For example, a salon might tag clients with labels like "VIP," or "Loyal Client," to quickly identify key details at a glance.

2. Click on "About"3. Click on "Tag"4. Type in the tagType in the specific info about the client and click on "Add Tag" to save.
1. Managing Business Details
Purpose: Update your business information visible to customers
Steps:
Navigate to Settings → Business Details
You can edit:
Business Name
Business Email
Phone Number
Business Category (e.g., Hair Salon, Spa, Nail Salon)
Tap Save Changes to update your profile
Notes:
Changes are immediately visible to customers
Business category helps customers find your business
Contact information is used for notifications and communications
2. Managing Services
Purpose: Create, edit, and organize your salon services
Steps:
Adding a New Service
Navigate to Services from the main menu
Tap Add Service button
Fill in service details:
Service Name
Category (select or create new)
Price
Duration (minutes)
Description (optional)
Products Used (track inventory)
Add-ons (additional duration options)
Toggle Active to make the service bookable
Tap Save
Editing an Existing Service
Navigate to Services
Find the service in the list
Tap on the service card
Modify the details as needed
Tap Save
Organizing Services with Categories
On the Services screen, you'll see categories on the left (tablet) or top (mobile)
Tap + Add Category to create a new service category
To rename a category, tap the edit icon next to the category name
Drag and drop services to reorder them within a category
Drag and drop categories to reorder them
Reordering Services
Long-press on a service and drag it to a new position
A Save button will appear when you've made changes
Tap Save to save the new order
Tips:
Services are sorted by their order in the category
Customers see services in the order you set
Active services appear in your booking calendar
Inactive services are hidden from customers but kept for records
3. Creating Service Packages
Purpose: Bundle multiple services together at a special price
Steps:
Creating a New Package
Navigate to Services → Packages tab
Tap Add Package
Enter package details:
Package Name (e.g., "Bridal Package", "Monthly Maintenance")
Price (special package price)
Original Price (sum of individual services)
Duration (total time for all services)
Select Services to include
Select whether services are Parallel (simultaneous) or Sequential (one after another)
Description (optional)
Tap Save
Editing a Package
Find the package in the list
Tap on the package card
Modify details as needed
Tap Save
Tips:
Parallel packages run services at the same time (good for treatments done simultaneously)
Sequential packages run services one after another (good for multi-step treatments)
Original price should reflect the total if services were booked separately
Packages are displayed prominently on your online profile
4. Managing Customers
Purpose: View, search, filter, and manage your customer database
Steps:
Viewing Customers
Navigate to Customers from the main menu
Scroll through the list to see all customers
Tap a customer to view their details, bookings, and notes
Adding a New Customer
Tap the + (New Customer) button
Fill in customer information:
Name (required)
Phone Number (required)
Email (optional)
Tags (for grouping, e.g., "VIP", "Regular")
Notes (optional)
Tap Save
Searching for Customers
Use the search bar at the top
Type any of:
Customer name
Phone number (with or without country code)
Email address
Results appear instantly
Filtering Customers
Tap the Filter icon
Apply any of the following filters:
Tags: Select customer tags to filter
Spend: Set minimum and maximum total spend
Visit Dates: Filter by last visit date range
Staff: Filter customers who booked with specific staff
Branch: Filter customers who visited specific branches
Notes: Search for text in customer notes
Phone: Search by phone number
Tap Apply Filters
A dot on the filter icon shows active filters
Viewing Customer Details (Tablet View)
Click on a customer in the list
Details panel shows:
Customer information
Booking history
Purchase history
Customer notes and tags
Tips:
Customer data includes all their bookings and spending
Use tags to segment your customers (e.g., "VIP", "No-Show")
Export customers to CSV for backup or analysis
Filter by "No Shows" to follow up with customers who missed appointments
5. Business Settings
Purpose: Configure your business preferences and staff permissions
Steps:
Accessing Settings
Navigate to Settings from the main menu
Settings are organized into collapsible sections
Messaging Preferences
Expand Messaging Preferences
Configure:
Send booking confirmations
Send appointment reminders
Send birthday greetings
WhatsApp message templates
No-Show Protection
Expand No-Show Protection
Enable protection
Set the deposit percentage (e.g., 20% deposit to secure booking)
This charges customers who miss appointments
Staff Permissions
Expand Permissions
For each area (Business Details, Services, Customers, Settings, Reports):
Set permission level for each role (Admin, Manager, Staff, etc.)
Full Access: Can view and edit
View Only: Can only view
No Access: Cannot access
Tips:
Permissions control what staff can see and do
Use different permission levels for different roles
Changes apply immediately to all staff members
6. Printer Settings (POS)
Purpose: Configure thermal printers for receipts
Steps:
Navigate to Settings → POS Settings
Select the branch you want to configure
Configure printer settings:
Paper Size: 58mm or 80mm
Auto Cut: Automatically cut paper after printing
Beep: Beep after printing
Print on Checkout: Automatically print receipt on checkout
Cash Drawer Mode: When to open the cash drawer
Payment Methods for Drawer: Which payment methods trigger drawer
Label Printer Settings: Configure label printer language and dimensions
Tap Save
Tips:
Different branches can have different printer configurations
Test printing after changing settings
Cash drawer can be set to open automatically for cash payments
7. Updating Business Logo and Cover
Purpose: Update your business branding
Steps:
Navigate to Business Details
Tap on the current logo or cover image
Choose image source (Camera or Gallery)
Crop/adjust the image if needed
Tap Save
Tips:
Use high-quality images for best results
Recommended logo size: 500x500px
Recommended cover size: 1920x500px
Images appear on your online profile and app
8. Managing Gallery Images
Purpose: Showcase your work in your online profile
Steps:
Navigate to Online Profile
Tap Gallery section
Tap Add Photos
Select multiple images from your gallery
Tap Save
Tips:
Gallery images help attract new customers
Show before/after results
Arrange images in the order you want them displayed
9. Editing Subdomain
Purpose: Customize your online booking website URL
Steps:
Navigate to Business Details
Find the Domain Name field
Enter your desired subdomain (e.g., "mysalon")
Your website will be:
mysalon.waj.appTap Save
Tips:
Choose a name that's easy to remember
Use your business name if available
Avoid special characters and spaces
