1. Payment Methods

What Are Payment Methods?

Payment Methods determine how customers can pay for services at your business. You can enable/disable different payment options, create custom payment methods, and manage payment gateway integrations.

Getting Started

Access Payment Methods

  1. Navigate to Settings → Payment Methods

  2. View all available payment methods for your business

Available Payment Types

Payment Method | Description | Editable

Cash | Physical cash payments | Yes

Card | Credit/Debit card payments | Yes

Payment Link | Digital payment links (requires integration) | No

Saved Card | Customer's saved cards | No

Gift Card | Gift card redemptions | Yes

Managing Payment Methods

Enable/Disable Payment Methods

  1. Go to Payment Methods screen

  2. Find the payment method you want to toggle

  3. Use the switch to activate or deactivate the method

  4. Confirm the action when prompted

Note: You must have at least one active payment method enabled.

Add a New Payment Method

  1. Click Add Payment Method button

  2. Enter a name for your custom payment method

  3. Select an icon from the available options:

  • Share icon (for payment links)

  • Link icon (for digital payments)

  • Cash icon (for cash payments)

  • Card icon (for card payments)

  • Gift icon (for gift cards)

  1. Click Create Payment Method

Edit an Existing Payment Method

  1. Locate the payment method card

  2. Click the edit icon (pencil)

  3. Modify the name or icon

  4. Click Update Payment Method

Delete a Payment Method

  1. Find the payment method you want to remove

  2. Click the trash/delete icon

  3. Confirm the deletion

Note: You cannot delete the last active payment method. Ensure you have at least one alternative enabled.

Payment Method Restrictions

  • Some payment methods are read-only and cannot be edited or deleted

  • Payment Links require a payment gateway integration (Zina, Thawani, or Telr)

  • At least one payment method must remain active

Troubleshooting

Issue: Can't deactivate a payment method

  • Solution: You must have at least one other active payment method. Enable another method first.

Issue: Payment Link option not available

  • Solution: Contact support to set up a payment gateway integration.
