Onboarding Process
The onboarding process helps you set up your business profile in just 3 simple steps. It takes approximately 3-5 minutes to complete.
Step 1: Welcome Screen
When you first sign in, you'll see the welcome screen that explains what to expect during setup:
What You'll Set Up:
Business Information - Your salon/spa name, category, and logo
Contact Information - Address, email, and phone number
Website Theme - Choose colors for your online booking site
Time Estimate: 3-5 minutes
To Start: Tap the "Start Onboarding" button
Step 2: Business Information
This step collects basic details about your business.
Fields Required:
Business Name (Required)
Enter your business name
This will appear on customer bookings and your online profile
Example: "Glamour Studio", "Quick Cuts"
Category (Required)
Select the type of business from the grid:
Beauty Salon
Hairdresser
Spa
Barber Shop
Clinic
Pharmacy
Wellness
Gym
Other
Logo (Optional)
Tap the circular image area to upload a logo
You can take a photo with your camera or select from gallery
The app will crop it to a circle automatically
If you don't have a logo now, you can add it later
How to Complete:
Type your business name
Tap a category to select it (a green checkmark appears)
(Optional) Tap the circle to upload your logo
Tap "Next" when done
Note: You must complete the business name and select a category to proceed.
Step 3: Contact Information
This step sets up how customers can reach you and your business location.
Fields Required:
Address (Required)
Tap the address field to open the location picker
Option A: Tap "Current" to use your current location
Option B: Type an address and tap the arrow icon
The map will show the selected location
Drag the pin to adjust if needed
The address text will auto-fill from the map
Email Address (Required)
Enter your business email
This will be used for notifications and customer communications
The app checks if this email is already registered
You'll see a green checkmark if it's available
Phone Number (Required)
Enter your business phone with country code
Example: +971 50 123 4567
The app validates if this number is unique
A loading spinner shows while checking
You'll see an error message if it's already in use
Auto-fill based on category (Optional)
Check this box if you want the app to automatically fill service information based on your business category
Available based on your subscription
How to Complete:
Tap the address field → Select your location on the map → Tap "Confirm Location"
Type your email address → Wait for green checkmark
Enter your phone number → Wait for green checkmark
(Optional) Check the auto-fill box
Tap "Next" when all fields show green checkmarks
Note: All fields in this step are required. The "Next" button will be disabled until all validations pass.
Step 4: Online Profile & Theme
This final step sets up your online booking website.
Options:
Online Profile (Toggle)
ON (Default): Your business gets a free online booking site at
yourname.waj.appOFF: No online booking site (you can enable this later)
Domain Name (Required if online profile is ON)
Automatically generated from your business name
Example: "glamourstudio.waj.app"
You can edit this to something custom
Common words like "salon", "spa" are automatically removed
The app checks availability in real-time
Green checkmark = Available
Red X = Already taken
Theme (Required)
Choose from 8 color themes for your online site
Each theme shows a preview circle with 3 colors
The colors are: background, primary, and accent
Tap a theme to select it
How to Complete:
Choose whether to enable online profile (toggle ON or OFF)
If ON: Edit the domain name (optional) - wait for green checkmark
Tap a theme to select it
Tap "Finish" to create your business
What Happens Next:
The app creates your business account
Your logo (if uploaded) is saved
Your settings are applied
You'll see a success message
The app navigates to your home dashboard
