Forms Feature Issues

Problem: Can't see the Forms menu

Solution:

  • Check with your administrator that you have the right permissions

  • Forms may not be enabled for your role

Problem: Form content doesn't display correctly

Solution:

  • Try editing the form to fix formatting issues

  • Avoid special characters that might not display properly

  • Test on different devices (tablet vs phone)

Problem: Signature pad is not responding

Solution:

  • Ensure you're using a touchscreen device

  • Try refreshing the page

  • Check that the screen isn't locked

Problem: PDF generation fails

Solution:

  • Check your internet connection

  • Ensure form content isn't too long

  • Try downloading again after a few moments

  • Contact support if the issue persists

Problem: Customer signed but signature not showing

Solution:

  • Check that you saved the signature properly

  • Refresh the booking page

  • Look for the green "Signed" badge

  • The signature should appear in the Forms section

Problem: Downloaded PDF won't open

Solution:

  • Ensure you have a PDF reader installed

  • Try opening in a different PDF viewer

  • Check that the file size isn't corrupted

  • Re-download the PDF if needed


Journal Feature Issues

Problem: Can't find an old entry

Solution:

  • Expand your date range to include older dates

  • Try searching for keywords from the entry

  • Entries beyond 365 days from today may not be accessible

Problem: Entry won't save

Solution:

  • Check that you're connected to the internet

  • Ensure the title field isn't empty

  • Try refreshing and creating the entry again

  • Contact support if the problem continues

Problem: Search isn't finding entries

Solution:

  • Try different search terms

  • Check your spelling

  • Search is case-insensitive, so don't worry about capitalization

  • Make sure the entry exists (check date range)

Problem: Date picker shows wrong dates

Solution:

  • Ensure your device's time and date are correct

  • Try selecting dates manually instead of using presets

  • Check your device's time zone settings

Problem: Entry content is truncated

Solution:

  • The entry list only shows a preview (up to 3 lines)

  • Click on the entry to see the full content

  • All your text is saved, just preview is limited

Performance

  • Slow loading: Close other apps, check internet connection

  • App crashes: Restart the app, ensure you have the latest version

  • Freezing: Try on a different device or browser

Data Safety

  • Data loss: Entries are saved to the cloud, check your connection

  • Backups: Journal and form data is automatically backed up

  • Export: Download important forms as PDFs for your records
