Key Shared Functionalities Users Interact With

1. Notification Bell Icon

Location: Top-right corner of the main screen

What it does:

  • Shows a bell icon (๐Ÿ””)

  • Displays a red dot when you have unread notifications

  • Number of unread notifications shown as a red badge

How to use:

  1. Tap the bell icon to open notification history

  2. View all your notifications in a list

  3. Tap any notification to:

  • Mark it as read

  • Navigate to related details (booking, product, etc.)

  1. Tap the back button to mark all as read and close

Notification types:

  • Booking Notifications: New bookings, cancellations, status changes

  • Product Notifications: Low stock alerts, new products

2. Customer Summary Panel

Location: Right side of booking details screen (on desktop/tablet)

What it shows:

  • Customer name and contact info

  • Birthday with celebration emoji if birthday is this week

  • Current booking notes

  • Customer notes (history)

  • Custom fields button (for business-specific data)

  • Forms button (signed consent forms)

  • AI recommendations (if enabled)

  • Recent products purchased

How to use:

  1. View Customer Info: See customer details at a glance

  2. Change Customer: Tap the change icon to select a different customer

  3. Add Notes: Type notes for current booking

  4. View History: See customer's past bookings and purchases

  5. Custom Fields: Tap to view/edit business-specific customer data

  6. View Forms: Tap to see signed consent forms and waivers

3. Category Dropdown

Location: Various forms and search screens

What it does:

  • Allows selection of a category to filter or classify items

  • Categories are loaded automatically from your business settings

How to use:

  1. Tap the dropdown field

  2. Select a category from the list

  3. The category is applied to filter or classify the item

4. Branch Dropdown

Location: Various list screens and dashboards

What it does:

  • Allows selection of a specific branch or "All Branches"

  • Data shown is filtered based on selection

How to use:

  1. Tap the branch dropdown

  2. Select a branch to view that branch's data only

  3. Select "All Branches" to view combined data

5. QR Code Display

Location: Payment screens and certain booking details

What it does:

  • Displays a QR code that can be scanned for:

  • Mobile payments

  • Online booking verification

  • Check-in confirmation

How to use:

  1. The QR code appears automatically when needed

  2. The other party scans it with their camera

  3. The transaction or verification is completed

6. Bluetooth Printer Setup

Location: Not visible directly, but works in the background

What it does:

  • Automatically discovers available Bluetooth printers

  • Connects to previously used printers

  • Sends print jobs when needed

How to use:

  1. Ensure your printer is turned on and in pairing mode

  2. Allow Bluetooth permissions when prompted

  3. The app will automatically find your printer

  4. Print jobs are sent automatically (receipts, invoices)

Troubleshooting:

  • If printing fails, check:

  • Printer is powered on

  • Bluetooth is enabled on your device

  • Printer is in range (typically within 10 meters/30 feet)

  • Printer has paper and is not in error state

7. Permission Dialogs

Location: When accessing camera or photo library

What it does:

  • Prompts you to grant necessary permissions

  • Directs you to Settings if permissions are denied

How to use:

  1. When prompted, tap "Allow" to grant the requested permission

  2. If you previously denied the permission, tap "Open Settings"

  3. Enable the permission in your device Settings

  4. Return to the app to continue
